Factory Reset MICROS SiMPHONY POS

 
  1. Start Windows

  2. Search for Reset this PC

  3. Under Advance Startup Click on Restart Now

4. Tap on Troubleshoot

5. Factory Reset

6. POS will Restart

7. Black Dialogbox Opens up it will ask to confirm Factory reset

Press “Y” and Hit Enter.

This will wipe all old files/configuration, restart automatically and boot up with a fresh new system.

Follow

  1. Country: Canada (Next)

  2. Keyboard Layout: US (Yes)

  3. Secondary Keyboard: (SKIP)

  4. Terms&Conditions: (Accept)

  5. Computer Name: POS1

  6. Password: micros123

  7. Password Hint: Oracle

 

9 . Installing Team Viewer Host 

Start ---> Internet Explorer ---> Type in address bar get.teamviewer.com/cypressfivestar ---> Go ---> Run ---> Install Team Viewer Host 

Once Team Viewer host is installed send a picture of “YOUR ID” and “PASSWORD” to Jeff Thompson


10. Once you have shared pictures of Team Viewer Host YOUR ID and PASSWORD for the POS to Jeff OR Zik, They will take over with further software installation


 

11. Once all Setup is complete Test some transactions and let Jeff OR Zik know that everything is working fine
